Cheryl’s Flowers by Diana Madaras - 22x30" Original Watercolor

I began this painting by pouring paint on wet watercolor paper in random fashion and letting it mix at will. Once dry, I then shaped various flowers in the areas I’d left white, melding the intentional shapes I laid down with what had occurred accidentally during the pour. These very interesting patterns would have never happened with “direct” painting. The end result is a fun, happy, whimsical painting.
