This expressionistic painting is all about freedom and movement. It depicts five bison in a vast open plain with waterfalls cascading behind them. Though abstract, one can still discern enough realism in the piece to recognize and feel the flow of water from the mountains above. This is the second painting in the Bison series. The first, titled “Bison on Parade,” can be viewed at the Lodge at Ventana Canyon in Tucson, AZ.
