GALLERY SALES ASSOCIATE

Are you a dynamic sales professional with a passion for art and a flair for exceptional customer service? Join our award-winning art gallery, home to the largest selection of Tucson art in the southwest! Our gallery features a stunning collection of original paintings, canvas reproductions, photography, prints, sculptures, ceramics, jewelry, and carved mesquite by renowned Arizona artists.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage and Inspire: Connect with customers and share the stories behind our unique artworks, from captivating paintings to intricate sculptures.
  • Build Lasting Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong connections with clients, collectors, and artists, creating a loyal and enthusiastic customer base.
  • Be the Bridge: Serve as the vital link between our talented artists and potential buyers, providing insightful information about artworks and their availability.
  • Promote and Celebrate: Assist in our vibrant marketing efforts, including social media campaigns, exhibit openings, and exciting gallery events.
  • Seal the Deal: Manage the financial aspects of art sales, ensuring smooth and efficient transactions.
  • Curate the Space: Keep our gallery looking its best, maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting environment.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Sales Savvy: Proven sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Customer Champion: Outstanding customer service skills to create memorable experiences for our visitors.
  • Communicator Extraordinaire: Excellent communication skills for engaging with a diverse range of people, from artists to high-end clients.
  • Organizational Guru: Ability to keep the gallery organized and handle multiple tasks with ease.
  • Art Aficionado: A solid understanding of art history, styles, and current market trends is beneficial.

Experience:

  • Gallery Guru: Previous experience in sales and/or customer service in an art gallery is preferred.
  • Retail Rockstar: Experience in retail sales and a history of stellar customer service are advantageous.

Tools and Technology:

  • MS Office, Shopify, and HubSpot working knowledge: preferred, but not essential.

Payrate

  • $20/hour plus commission
