Madaras Gallery will host a special evening on featuring wildlife photographer Susan Hershey and her exhibit of Arizona wildlife, including her well-known owl imagery. Susan Hershey is a local photographer known for her intimate, detail-rich images of birds and her deep connection to wildlife and birding in the Southwest.
The Arizona Raptor Center will also be onsite for an Educational Presentation with three live owls, including the elf owl (the smallest owl in the world). Their mission is to provide science-based education and resources that promote wildlife conservation and environmental awareness, while conducting educational and humane scientific research to support the conservation of raptors in the United States and worldwide.
Visitors are invited to experience Susan’s work up close and take home a piece that captures the beauty and spirit of these incredible animals.
